Here's a photo sent to us by a young boy who was separated from his father during a hike in the
high Sierras several years ago. Search teams from several counties, including a couple
of team members from Contra Costa County, searched for several days. The young boy
was found - dehydrated but otherwise in good condition.
The small sign he's holding reads, "Thank you for saving me. Love, Scott"
